This week started CNA Week. Across all 7 counties, our Hospice Liaisons made sure they recognized all of the hard working CNA’s in a variety of ways.
On Tuesday, Kona Ice of Clark/Floyd county headed to Scott County where staff at Scott Memorial Health and Hampton Oaks Health Campus enjoyed snow cones and music. April Avis, the Scott County Adaptive Liaison said, “I have missed so many smiling faces over the last few months, so it was wonderful to see and treat everyone for CNA week”. The sun was definitely shining down on all the wonderful things that not only the CNA’s do, but the rest of the healthcare community in Scott County.
Then on Wednesday, we headed to New Albany Nursing and Rehab to treat their staff. Connie Beck, our Floyd County Liaison said, “I love my job that allows me to be able to love on all their staff!”.
At other healthcare facilities, the CNA’s received a Call Light Survival Basket. All of the snacks and Adaptive swag hopefully brought some cheer to each of the facilities who received them.
